By the Rapids

A few scenes from episode 7 of season 1 of By the Rapids. I miss working on BTR. It was totally boss. I rigged Hazel and Derek for the show, and in my scenes for this episode I ended up having to re-rig their slidey faces since some of the rigs were from when we started and hadn't figured out slidey faces yet.

Cut-out makes me happy

It's true. I've put the apartment troll on the back burner to take up the latest version of Flash. I'm declaring my lip sync exercise somewhat of a success for now since I'm now comfortable with Flash.

Results as it were:



The track is from Mean Girls. I grabbed something from a movie I hadn't seen to avoid copying the acting.

Also, some "production" sketches of miss Celina as I was sussing out how she would look.

Apartment Troll: January's progress

Her hands and feet are still low res, but I'm getting there. Her body is almost all done, and the next exciting step will be to connect all the parts of her face. I'm excited about it. At this point I'm about 20 hours in.

Some Drawings

A few quick colours on some drawings I liked. As with everything of late these are all drawn with ink then coloured digitally.

Renee Gill, the main antagonist from No Pants are Tied to My Heart. I think she's my favourite right now.

I'm not terribly happy with the boarding or sound on this. I am happy with how her face rig turned out. The sticky lips kind of killed my ability to edit blend shapes, but it was definately worth it.

Apartment Troll in progress

hurray! I've been modeling my apartment troll whenever I have a bit of spare time. She's about 16 hours in. I blocked out the basic shapes/proportions first and have been then combining and cleaning up her mesh.










And some ideas of her design so you can see where I'm heading with this.
